The GAP Certified Post-Harvest Facility (18’x36’) will provide a space for washing, packaging, and storing vegetables in a facility that will provide support for Growing High Point’s Urban Farm Leaders with room to expand to other local farmers.  This facility allows local farmers to prepare and package their produce to sell to local restaurants and create a central storage location for produce to be sold at the High Point Farmers Market.  This building will serve as a space for community engagement, with volunteering and teaching opportunities.  The space outside of the facility will be used for community gatherings such as potlucks and barbecues.
