Culturally Appropriate Food Guide

June 3, 2024

We're proud to share the Culturally Appropriate Food Guide, a comprehensive resource developed in partnership with World Relief Triad and the High Point University Center for Community Engagement. This guide helps local food pantries, nonprofits, and community members better understand the dietary needs and preferences of the Greater High Point area's most represented international communities.

At the Greater High Point Food Alliance, we recognize that culturally appropriate access to food is critical to food justice. For individuals and families from immigrant, refugee, and diverse backgrounds, accessing familiar, culturally meaningful foods can influence whether they feel welcomed, nourished, and genuinely supported in our community.
