FOOD SECURITY SUMMIT

FOOD SECURITY SUMMIT UPDATE:

Although we had planned to host our event in person, due to the current rising COVID numbers our team made the decision this week to host the Food Security Summit virtually.  The event will still be held on the 28th.  The topic and the speakers will remain the same as detailed below.  Our event will begin at 8:30am and last until 12:30pm.  A Zoom link will be sent out for the event through your Eventbrite email at a later date.  Although we looked forward to seeing you all in person, we want everyone to be safe and healthy within our community.  We look forward to seeing you virtually on January 28th, 2022.  Thank you for your continued support.

Greater High Point Food Alliance’s sixth Food Security Summit, in collaboration with Resilience High Point, will take place on January 28th, at The Loft at Congdon Yards.  The topic for this Food Security Summit is the Impact of Poverty on Housing, Seniors, Food Security, Health, Education, and  Youth Perspectives.   Dr. Gene Nichol will be the keynote speaker and High Point City Manager, Tasha Logan Ford, will give an update from the City.
